Postcards of Limerick and Adare Ireland

Adare Ireland

And as promised, limericks from Limerick courtesy of Jake:

An American came to Ireland thirsty

A week later, poor soul, he lay on a gurney

“Buck up!” The wife said,

“You are not quite dead,

You big baby, we just started this journey!”

To be frankly sincere I admit to despair

When I witness a beautiful, artful affair

This isn’t a joke

I’ll probably choke

Here’s to hoping I’m more than a little hot air

Two Americans feared intolerance

Seeing how Trump was towards his audience.

“We don’t quite care!”

The Irish declared,

“We’re too busy maintaining our tolerance.”
